"They’ve only ever used 5 colors on these posters.
Always spot colors, never gradients.  They tend to lean towards a lower cost design, so I’d recommend keeping the designs to as few colors as possible. Vector art works best, no gradients. If the art is vector we do not need to worry about line screen at all.

If you raster art is how it’s going to be designed then there are some hoops to jump through.
300dpi at print size and 55 line screen - though we may elect to drop the line screen to 35 pending how complex the gradients are, etc.

We use 230 mesh to print posters here."

072428 BLACK (Pantone 5463)

Remember that the comps you create will come out of a CMYK device - a whole other color gamut
